Inspired by H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, Kechara Oasis wishes to encourage vegetarianism by making the vegetarian diet delicious, appealing and readily available to people.  Promoting vegetarianism is promoting non-violence through respecting the lives of all living beings thus creating the causes for a larger vision of promoting world peace, beginning in the community of Petaling Jaya, extending to the nation of Malaysia and across the globe.  Besides encouraging people to eat with compassion, it is also encouraging people to eat healthily. 

H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche who is a promoter of inter-religious and inter-center harmony has also a greater purpose for Kechara Oasis – it provides a beautiful place where people of different faiths and centers can gather together and eat heartily without restrictions and be merry!
